Undo two screws at top, tap lid backwards to remove. Remove outer band on door seal and door itself using 7mm bolts
Support door when removing bolts. Check for mildew on door seal and broken soap drawer catches
0Disconnect power, press pins down, slide lock at angle to remove
Check for recall on door locks from Whirlpool takeover. Inspect wiring for burn damage
Use flat blade screwdriver to press three lugs and remove plinth
Pump and filter cover located behind plinth. Check for blockages and impeller damage
Remove 10mm bolts from concrete block. Remove 2 screws from front panel top
Support soap drawer when removing screws. Disconnect display panel wiring
Test solenoid valves with multimeter (should read 3.8-3.9 ohms). Remove pressure switch clip and housing
Check for H2O error code (filling issues). Pressure switches send frequency data to circuit board
Use hook screwdriver to lift wire band. Disconnect motor earth wire and plug
Motor wiring: 2 red wires (tacho), 2 black (carbon brushes), 3 black (motor fields)

Disconnect hoses, remove 2 nuts holding suspension legs. Use travel hoist to lift drum
Remove springs and retention carriers. Drum is sealed with glue and welding
Remove 2 screws to take out pump. Remove pressure bowl, sump hose, and heater element
Check impeller for damage. Heater element requires 7mm socket to remove
Cut plastic to expose spider and bearings. Examine corrosion and quality issues
Bearings are 6205Z (front) and 6206Z (rear). Seal is 35x62x6.5/10.5. Total replacement cost under £20
