Shows how to make Korean-style stir-fry ramen without broth
Learn YB Chang's mom's recipe for Korean-style stir-fry ramen, taught by celebrity chef Peck Jolin. This brothless ramen transforms instant noodles into a flavorful, pasta-like dish using olive oil and half the seasoning packet.
Add water to a pan and bring it to a boil. Add the ramen noodles and cook until tender.
Remove the pan from heat and carefully pour out most of the water, leaving just enough to prevent sticking. Use a strainer or utensils to hold noodles in place.
Return pan to low heat and add only half of the seasoning packet. Stir until evenly distributed.
Drizzle a little olive oil over the noodles and toss to coat. This creates a smooth, pasta-like texture.
Pour into a bowl and enjoy immediately while hot.
